Maple-Roasted Sweetnes

3 medium organic yams, cut in half lengthwise and slice halves into 1-inch chunks
4 tablespoons of Wild Oats Butter
1 cup real maple syrup
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp cloves
Salt
Pepper
Cinnamon sticks

 
  1. Place yam chunks in a baking dish
  2. Heat butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves in a saucepan
  3. Drizzle over yams and toss to evenly coat
  4. Bake at 425 for about 20 minutes or until tender
  5. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with cinnamon sticks
